  1. My favourite is the bike seat.

  2. Thanks.. yes that is the fav on Flickr too! πŸ™‚ That P6 mount Russian Mir 65mm lens lets you get nice and close to give some impressive bokeh for a f3.5 lens.

Nice to see some more film shots. Since you got your M9 I’d thought we had lost you to the dark side forever πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Steve! These were actually taken prior to the arrival of the M9 and I still have lots of film stuff to develop, scan and post.

..I must admit having a Leica M9 is a real threat to film.. but I hope to still shooting both.

I shot film as the D800 photos were too sterile sharp but the Leica M9 changed all that and I love the rendering and fact I don’t need to find time to edit / clean up each film shot. But.. I think film still has it’s place so fingers crossed!

The images from the M9 are stunning ! (Especially in your hands) “Sterile” is a good word to describe all the digital images out there today. I was also caught up in the quest for the sharpest, cleanest image for a while till I realised what I didn’t like about them was they were “too perfect”. ( the images, not my photography skills ).
It was actually you that inspired me to dig out my old fm2 and Ais lenses and start playing with film again, so I thank you for that πŸ™‚
When are you coming down under to beautiful sunny Queensland for a holiday ? (and a few natural light courses while you’re here so you can claim your trip )
