After buying the Leica M10 recently I needed a broader range of presets to cover my usual needs. This 5 pack replaces my old 3 pack and all presets are completely new. It took me 3 months to narrow down to my 3 most used B&W presets. (Even then, like with any preset you might need to adjust slightly depending on the lens that you are using that day or the subject/ model that you are shooting).
I used the low contrast B&W preset the most on my Poland trip, the high contrast the most on my Valencia trip and the mid contrast for Lisbon. All the 3 presets were developed from scratch so are not the same preset with more/ less contrast. I’ve left the exposure unmarked so you can adjust to taste (like with many of my other preset packs).
For colour many photographers prefer the puncher colours from previous Leica M cameras. The Colour 1 preset is my main “normal colours” preset developed to closer match older models. When I shoot colour (as a B&W guy) I often need “better than reality” colour so I developed the Colour 2 preset. Colour 2 is film inspired/ movie inspired and gives a cooler/ greener look to the image. It won’t suit every occasion but when it does it can look great.
