1-Click Editing: Leica Q Presets for Lightroom
After 2 months of owning my Leica Q camera I now have my final 4 most used Lightroom presets to share. If you want to speed up your photo editing process these Leica Q Lightroom presets are for you.
Only a matter of time! Leica Q
A few years back Leica Mayfair in London kindly leant me a Leica Q camera to test. Even if I didn’t admit it at the time the Leica Q had a lasting impact. Roll forward to today and after testing another Leica Q I finally pulled the trigger to purchase this amazing camera as my primary wedding camera.
Lightroom presets for Leica Q cameras
Once I bought the Leica Q camera I needed a quick way to edit my RAW files. I take around 300+ images on a typical model shoot and over 1000+ images on most wedding days. I batch edit my RAW files via Adobe Lightroom so I wanted to make 4 presets to cover most eventualities.
Lightroom presets for the Leica Q camera
For each digital camera I use I develop a Lightroom preset pack that applies a base edit in 1 click. My process is to make a series of colour and black and white profiles and then see which I use the most. The top 4 get exported and I make those available for you to download here.
MrLeica Leica Q Presets Pack
My Leica Q preset pack consists of 4 presets
- MrLeica-LeicaQ-BW1
- MrLeica-LeicaQ-BW2

For each preset I will include unedited RAW files and RAW + preset (with slider display for comparison). Stay with me until the end and I will include some final Photoshop edits too.
1) MrLeica Leica Q BW1
BW1 is my most used preset of the 4. It works well for me for photos shot in high contrast lighting. This preset pulls the shadow detail to render a lower contrast, perhaps more filmic look. It worked well with all models and all skin tones and great for weddings too.

2) MrLeica Leica Q BW2
BW2 is my second most used preset. It gives more contrast, perhaps more pop and vignetting to focus the attention to the centre of the frame. I find I use this the most with photos shot on cloudy days with lower contrast.

3) MrLeica Leica Q Col1
Col1 will give your photos greater colour saturation and more pop, hopefully adding life to any photo. It pulls the shadow details to give a bright vibrant image.

4) MrLeica Leica Q Col2
Col2 is my least used of the 4 presets and gives a more muted colour pallet. (I tend to prefer more pop but that doesn’t suit every occasion!) This preset works well in bright conditions to recover the shadow details and where the colours out of camera already look colourful.
